Get involved
There are many ways in which you can get involved in Cycle Africa to help make a difference in the lives of street children:
Donate
We’re aiming to raise £100,000 for the street children projects that the team visits along the way. Every penny that you give will go to support these projects.
SOAS Alumni
If you are a SOAS alumnus and want to attend an alumni event in Istanbul, Amman, Cairo, Nairobi, Maputo, Durban or Cape Town or another city along the route please contact cycleafrica@soas.ac.uk. The team would also appreciate your support along the route with anything from a book exchange to a place to stay for the night! If you want to help the team in any way please email Cycle Africa using the online contact form.

Fundraising
You don’t have to get on a bike to raise money – hold a fundraising event and help us reach our donation targets to make positive changes to children who haven’t been given a chance.
We have prepared a pack for anyone willing to help us (you know you want to!!) which contains the following:
- Information on the Cycle Africa charity
- Ideas for fundraising events
- Display boards about Cycle Africa that you can use during the event
- A Cycle Africa sponsorship form
- Details on Just Giving donations and what to do with the money you have raised
If you have any questions please get in touch via the contact form or email Loretta directly at loretta@cycleafrica.org.
Follow Dino & Lion
Follow the animal adventurers, Dino and Lion as they travel with the team. This is an educational blog for kids to help them learn a little bit about that countries that we are visiting and the things that we see.
